InsuranceOur only insurance is a health insurance for travelers. A lot of travelers recommend the DKV. Because they drastically increased their prices during the last year we chose another one our insurance broker offered: the Hanse Merkur. We can use it for up to 5 years, but the USA, Canada and Mexico are excluded, there is a fixed deductible per year and a transport back home is guaranteed, which in particular was very important to us because smaller aches and pains do not cost much, but a return in an emergency can be very expensive.
